Fy enaid clwyfus, na lesgâ
Mae moddi wella’r briw,
Ti gefaist achos da i ddweud

Translation

Let the heavenly choir join
With the tribes of humankind
To sing cheerfully with a loud cry
That God is love.

Explain the truths of his word,
And his worthy mercies,
And the death of Christ for guilty man
That God is love.

To lead the wonderful work of his grace onward
In a heart wicked in its colour
Which shows through all the churches
That God is love.

My wounded soul, do not languish,
There are means to heal the bruise;
Thou didst get a good cause to say
That God is love.
